risk:

• ongoing change in information technology,
• increasing business dependence on systems,
• increasing connectivity with stakeholders, and
• greater security and privacy expectations and regulation

The purpose of this session is to discuss methods to identify IT risks, evaluate likelihood and potential impact, and to define and implement strategies to achieve appropriate controls.

Grant Hellwarth from PricewaterhouseCoopers will present an approach, based on several industry frameworks such as COBIT, to establish a baseline discussion and understanding of IT risk assessment processes.
